Alpha Delta DX-SWL Shortwave Sloper Antenna

This is the antenna I hooked up to my Icom PCR-1000 computer controlled receiver.
Multi-Band Performance covering Medium Wave AM (.5-1.6 MHz),
120 MTRS(2.3-2.5 MHz), 90 MTRS (3.2-3.5 MHz), 60 MTRS (4.75-5.0 MHz), 49 MTRS (5.95-6.2 MHz), 41 MTRS (7.1-7.3 MHz), 31 MTRS (9.5-9.9 MHz), 25 MTRS (11.65-12.05 MHz), 21 MTRS (13.6-13.8 MHz), 19 MTRS (15.1-15.6 MHz), 16 MTRS (17.55-17.9 MHz), 13 MTRS (21.45-21.85 MHz)
Literally within minutes of completing the installation, my apartment maintenance staff knocked on my door asking what the devil that thing was going off into the woods and into my apartment window. They fortunately were OK with it once I explained that it was just a shortwave radio receive only antenna and carried no dangerous electricical load.
It does an incredible job of bringing in stations from all over the world. Very sensitive and with low noise. Now I wish I had spent that money on an antenna that was compatible for transmitting too. I plan on upgrading my Ham Radio privileges to General Class next weekend…

Antennas question by wwe_angel: Do the flashing batteries and antennas for cell phones work on the Alltel network?
I have phone service through Alltel. I found a faceplate that I want to get but it requires a flashing battery to look right. I’m not sure though if it will work with my Alltel. I also like the flashing antennas but I don’t want to waste the cash on either the faceplate or antenna if it wont work. Thank You for reading this and for any help.
